Biography: Professor Andrew Luxton-Reilly began teaching in the School of Computer Science at the University of Auckland in 1995. He is an advocate for scholarship of teaching and learning within the School of Computer Science, and more widely for the Faculty of Science as the Associate Dean Teaching and Learning. His research interests are in Computing Education, focusing on how to support students who are learning to program, and more specifically, peer learning, automated assessment tools, programming style, and introductory programming.
