Biography: Xinqun Zhu received the Ph.D. degree in Civil Engineering from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2001. He is a senior lecturer in Structural Engineering at the University of Western Sydney. Xinqun's research interests are primarily in structural dynamics, with emphasis on structural health monitoring and condition assessment, vehicle-bridge/road/track interaction analysis, moving load identification, damage mechanism of concrete structures and smart sensor technology. He has co-authored two scholarly books printed by the CRC Press, and published over 70 peer reviewed journal papers and 60 peer reviewed international conference papers.
